Abstract
Since films bear the traces of the social structures they emerge from within, it has importance in understanding the social transformation. And the main issue of sociological theory is to evaluate all kinds of tools that will help to understand the social and theorize them in a systematic way. The main claim of this study, which is based on the assumption that it is not possible to construct a theory independent of the social sphere is that with Pierre Bourdieu's conceptual repertoire, in other words, genetic structuralism/structural construction axis, the movie Infinity Theory directed in 2015 by Matt Brown could be resolved, and that conceptual repertoire would provide us with a fairly broad range of motion in analyzing films. In this context, understanding the relationship between the movie Infinity Theory, which is handled in the context of genetic structuralism/structural construction, the main character of it who lives in India and habitus, capital, field, play and other Bourdieuian concept repertoire will help us understand the relationship between the main character and Bourdieuian concepts.
