Abstract
Abstract: Gratitude, one of the concepts that came to the fore with positive psychology, is associated with many mental health indicators. This study was conducted to develop a Likert-type Turkish Gratitude Scale. Research data were collected from undergraduate students of a university. 477 for confirmatory factor analysis; a total of 870 data were used, of which 369 for exploratory factor analysis and 24 for test-retest analysis. After the expert opinions, a focus group interview was held with psychology undergraduate students and the first application and exploratory factor analysis were carried out with a 48 item pool. As a result of factor analysis, items with low item loads were removed from the scale and data were collected for first-level confirmatory factor analysis with 26 items. As a result of testing the relevant model, 4 more items were removed from the scale and a 22 item scale form with 5 factors was obtained. It was seen that the related items explained 53.51% of the total variance.
