Akkoyunlu Dönemi Resimli Şehnameleri: İkonografik Bir Değerlendirme

Abstract

Akkoyunlular (1340-1514) tarih sahnesine bir beylik olarak çıkmışlar ve daha sonra devlet olma yolunda ilerlemişlerdir. Zaman içerisinde kazandıkları güç sanat üretimini etkilemiş ve üretim Şiraz’da yoğunlaşmıştır. Özellikle Akkoyunların bölgeye hakimiyetlerinden sonra Şiraz’daki yoğun üretim bu dönemde resimli el yazma sayısındaki artışla kendini göstermiştir. Resimli el yazması üretiminde Ebül Kasım Firdevsi (ö. 411 H./1020 M.) tarafından 11. yüzyılın başlarında tamamlanan Şehnamelerin ayrı bir yeri olmuştur. Şiraz’da özellikle üzerinde durulan dönemdeki resimli Şehname üretimindeki artış dikkat çekici bir hal almış ve yakın tarihlerde hazırlanmış pek çok nüsha günümüze ulaşmıştır. Akkoyunlu dönemindeki Şehnamelerin ikonografik özellikleri, bu döneme ait özgün örneklerin ve resimlerinin incelenmesi ile belirlenebilmektedir. Resim-metin ilişkisinde kuvvetli bağ Şehname ikonografisinin belirlenmesin sağlamaktadır. Diğer taraftan nakkaşın yorumu sahnenin şekillenmesini büyük oranda etkilemektedir. Mevcut olan resim üslubunun katkısı da resmin hazırlanması sırasında yerini almaktadır. Bu bağlamda ikonografideki farklılıklar aynı sahnenin farklı nüshalardaki incelenmesi ile ön plana çıkmaktadır.

The Aqqoyunlus (1340-1514) emerged on the stage of history as a principality and progressed towards becoming a state later on. The power they gained over time affected the production of art as well and production concentrated in Shiraz. Especially after the domination of the Aqqoyunlu on the region, the intensive production in Shiraz distinguished itself with the increase in the number of illustrated manuscripts in this period. In the production of illustrated manuscripts, Shahnamas, which was completed at the beginning of the 11th century by Abu’l Qasim Firdausi (d. 411/1020), had a special place. The increase in the production of illustrated Shahnamas in the period, with a special emphasis in Shiraz, became remarkable and many recently prepared copies have reached today. The iconographic features of the Shahnamas in the period of Aqqoyunlu can be found out by analyzing the original examples and pictures belonging to this period. The strong link in the picture-text relationship is important in determining the iconography of the Shahnama. Additionally, the interpretation of the painter greatly affects the shape of the scene. The contribution of the existing painting style is also included in the evaluation. In this context, the differences in iconography become prominent with the analysis of the same scene in different copies.
