As a result, many linguists have been trained in every period throughout the history of Islam. They have beeen recorded to history of Arabic language by copyrighting many valuable works. On this occasion, they made great contributions to the development of Arabic. ' İsâmüddîn el- İsferâyînî is one of those linguists who became famous for his studies in the field of language. In our study, we examined Isferâyînî's Nahiv (syntax) work and his method in his work ʿİṣâm ʿale'l-Câmî. In this context, we planned our study as an introduction and two following parts. In the introduction, we have included information such as the subject and purpose of the thesis, the method followed in the thesis and the sources of the thesis. In the first part, after contacting Isferâyînî's life, scientific personality and nahvi aspect, we mentioned the importance of him and his work named ʿİṣâm ʿale'l-Câmî in the science of Nahiv (syntax). In the second part, we tried to specify the method of İsferâyînî in the mentioned work. In this context, we tried to explain his way of explaining statements, his style of handling controversial issues and his method of criticism with examples. Bunun neticesinde İslâm tarihi boyunca her dönemde pek çok dilbilimci yetişmiştir. Bunlar, birbirinden kıymetli çok sayıda eser telif etmişlerdir. Bu vesileyle de Arapçanın gelişiminde büyük katkılar sunmuşlardır. 'İsâmüddîn el-İsferâyînî dil alanında kaleme aldığı çalışmalarıyla ün yapan söz konusu dilbilimcilerden birdir. Çalışmamızda İsferâyînî'nin Nahiv yönünü ve ʿİṣâm ʿale'l-Câmî adlı eserindeki metodunu inceledik. Bu kapsamda çalışmamızı giriş ve iki bölüm olarak planladık. Girişte tezin konusu, amacı, tezde izlenen metot ve tezin kaynakları gibi bilgilere yer verdik. Birinci bölümde İsferâyînî'nin hayatı ilmi şahsiyeti ve nahvi yönüne temas ettikten sonra kendisinin ve ʿİṣâm ʿale'l-Câmî adlı eserinin nahiv ilmindeki önemine değindik. İkinci bölümde İsferâyînî'nin sözü edilen eserindeki metodunu belirtmeye çalıştık. Bu bağlamda onun ifadeleri açıklama tarzını, ihtilaflı meseleleri ele alış üslubunu ve eleştiri metodunu örneklerle izah etmeye çalıştık.
