Özfırat, Aynur2019-05-202019-05-202014978-975-491-372-9https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12514/531The special vessel found in the Kurgan 32 o f the Bozkurt Kurgan Necropolis that is on the foothills o f Greater A rarat has been discussed in this paper. The kurgan 32 has been partially destroyed by illegal excavations. There is a small- scale cist underneath the tumulus. On the west end o f the cist, there have been recovered human or animal bones and 3 whole pots. One o f these recovered pots, the monochrome painted bowl that we are going to analyze in this paper, is o f oval form and decorated w ith black paint, has two indents on the short sides o f the body that creates small bulges on the inside surface. The subject pot, based on the comparisons to South Caucasian samples, is included in the culture o f ‘Aras Painted Ware’ o f the Highland Plateau o f Eastern Anatolia, which is dated to Middle Bronze Age.trinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessBook Part
