Apart from Mardin’s traditional urban fabric, traditional Mardin pavilions that are placed in interior garden have never been documented before. These pavilions, the original owners of which are noble families, have changed hands or been abandoned because of various reasons or been destroyed from lack of maintenance. These pavilions that are dated to the period of Artuklu are confronted to conservation problems.
