On the Fractional Maximal Delta Integral Type Inequalities on Time Scales

Time scales have been the target of work of many mathematicians for more than a quarter century. Some of these studies are of inequalities and dynamic integrals. Inequalities and fractional maximal integrals have an important place in these studies. For example, inequalities and integrals contributed to the solution of many problems in various branches of science. In this paper, we will use fractional maximal integrals to establish integral inequalities on time scales. Moreover, our findings show that inequality is valid for discrete and continuous conditions.

Industry 4.0 and sustainable business models: An intercontinental sample

In the rapidly evolving contemporary business landscape, the Industry 4.0 revolution has emerged as an immense and transformative force, fundamentally reshaping industries and presenting significant challenges to prevailing business models. As technology components continued to evolve in response to this revolution, it became increasingly evident that understanding the multifaceted implications of these changes for organizational sustainability is of paramount importance. The overarching goal of this research was to elucidate the intricate interplay between Industry 4.0 technologies and organizational sustainability. To achieve this objective, we conducted a comprehensive exploration of real-world instances where companies boldly embraced Industry 4.0 technologies, subjecting their specific practices and processes to thorough examination. This methodological approach yielded a wealth of invaluable insights into the practical implications of Industry 4.0 on organizational sustainability, effectively bridging the gap between theory and practice. This research underscores the urgent need to provide businesses and decision-makers with insights of paramount significance. The findings of the study aim to serve as a guiding compass for organizations, offering clarity on potential benefits and challenges associated with Industry 4.0 adoption. Notably, within the scope study, the utilization of semi-structured interview technique added a unique dimension, enabling in-depth insights. Interviews were conducted with individuals from diverse nations across different continents, thoughtfully selected based on predefined criteria, setting this research apart in terms of both the sample's size and the remarkable diversity within the participant profile. This diversity enriched the research findings by encompassing various perspectives and experiences, significantly enhancing the depth and breadth of the study's insights.

Determinants of the economic adaptation of refugees: the case of Midyat Camp

In the context of the bottom-up approach to development and poverty reduction, this is the first study to use the Sustainable Livelihood Approach (SLA), with a slight adjustment, to study the economic adaptation of refugees within camps. The object- ive of this study was to explore the factors affecting the economic adaptation of refugees in Midyat Refugee Camp in Turkey. The study used a focus group to help design the questionnaire that was subsequently used to collect data from a sample of 393 households in Midyat Camp. The data was used to estimate a Structural Equations Model. The findings indicated that the most important factors in deter- mining refugees’ economic adaptation are human capital, social capital and institutions.

A New Approach for the Fractional Integral Operator in Time Scales With Variable Exponent Lebesgue Spaces

Integral equations and inequalities have an important place in time scales and harmonic analysis. The norm of integral operators is one of the important study topics in harmonic analysis. Using the norms in different variable exponent spaces, the boundedness or compactness of the integral operators are examined. However, the norm of integral operators on time scales has been a matter of curiosity to us. In this study, we prove the equivalence of the norm of the restricted centered fractional maximal diamond-alpha integral operator M-a,delta(c) to the norm of the centered fractional maximal diamond-alpha integral operator M-a(c) on time scales with variable exponent Lebesgue spaces. This study will lead to the study of problems such as the boundedness and compactness of integral operators on time scales.

Can entrepreneurial knowledge boost the entrepreneurial intent of French students? The mediation role of behavioral antecedents

Purpose: Entrepreneurial knowledge occupies a significant place in policy discourse and practice, especially in developed economies. This study aims to examine the effect of entrepreneurial knowledge on the components of entrepreneurial intent of undergraduate students. The authors seek to decipher a deeper understanding of their orientation for engaging in new ventures. In addition, we analyze the mediating role of behavioral antecedents between entrepreneurial knowledge and entrepreneurial intent. Design/methodology/approach: The authors collected the primary data of 400 undergraduate students from French universities and used structural equation modeling through Smart PLS software for testing several pertinent hypotheses. Findings: The study’s results revealed that entrepreneurial knowledge negatively affects students’ attitudes in choosing entrepreneurship in favor of a corporate job. In addition, entrepreneurial knowledge does not affect the social norms and self-efficacy that shape entrepreneurial intent. Interestingly, our study also revealed no mediating role between entrepreneurial knowledge and students’ self-efficacy. Originality/value: The findings of this study will contribute to the academic discourse on the role of entrepreneurial knowledge and its potential effect in promoting entrepreneurship. Furthermore, this study has policy implications and solicits developing entrepreneurship programs to enhance entrepreneurial intent among young people.
