Description
Mimari Restorasyon Programı, koruma meselesinin anlaşılması, kültür ve tabiat varlıklarının korunması konusunda mesleki donanıma sahip teknik elemanlar mezun etmek amacıyla kurulmuş bir bölümdür. Tarihi, mimari ve kültürel miras konusunda yöntem ve yaklaşımlar geliştirmek, öncelikle konumlandığı Mardin ve çevresinde yapılan restorasyon süreçlerinde aktif rol alma amacı taşır. Uygulamalı ve teorik dersler kapsamında öğrenciler, koruma düşüncesinin gelişimi, restorasyon konusunda yöntem ve prensipler, yapı ve elemanlarının rölövelerinin hazırlanması, analizlerinin yapılması, saptama ve envanter çalışmaları gibi konularda çalışarak iki yıllık önlisans sürecini tamamlarlar.
The Architectural Restoration Program is a department established for the purpose of graduating technical staff with professional equipment for understanding the issue of conservation, protection of cultural and natural assets. It aims to develop methods and approaches regarding historical, architectural and cultural heritage and to take an active role in the restoration processes carried out in and around Mardin, where it is located. Within the scope of applied and theoretical courses, students complete the two-year associate degree process by working on topics such as the development of conservation thinking, methods and principles of restoration, preparation of relays of structures and elements, analysis, detection and inventory studies.
