| gperson.biography | Dr. Çağdaş Erdem, lisans eğitimini 2009 yılında Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi Antropoloji Bölümü'nde tamamlamıştır. Lisans eğitiminin ardından Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı'nın YLSY bursunu kazanarak, dil becerilerini geliştirmek amacıyla University of Delaware'de ve Ankara Üniversitesi Yabancı Diller Yüksekokulu'nda dil kurslarına katılmıştır. 2016 yılında University of Sussex'te yüksek lisans eğitimini tamamlayarak antropoloji alanında derinlemesine bir bilgi birikimi edinmiştir. Zorunlu hizmet yükümlülüğü gereği, Mardin Artuklu Üniversitesi, Edebiyat Fakültesi, Antropoloji Bölümü'nde araştırma görevlisi olarak atanmış, 2024 yılında ise Ankara Üniversitesi Antropoloji Bölümü'nden doktora derecesini elde etmiştir. Doktora çalışmaları sırasında paleoantropoloji, insan osteolojisi ve dental antropoloji alanlarına odaklanmıştır. Halen Mardin Artuklu Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi Antropoloji Bölümü'nde görev yapmakta olan Dr. Erdem, paleoantropoloji, insan osteolojisi, dental antropoloji ve Paleolitik Çağ insan davranışları üzerine çalışmalar yürütmektedir. | |
| gperson.biography | Dr. Çağdaş Erdem earned his Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the Faculty of Letters at Cumhuriyet University in 2009. Following his undergraduate studies, he was awarded the Ministry of National Education's YLSY scholarship, which enabled him to pursue advanced language training at the University of Delaware and the School of Foreign Languages at Ankara University. In 2016, Dr. Erdem completed his Master’s degree in Anthropology at the University of Sussex, where he deepened his expertise in the field. Upon fulfilling the requirements of his obligatory service, he was appointed as a research assistant in the Department of Anthropology at the Faculty of Letters, Mardin Artuklu University. In 2024, he obtained his Ph.D. in Paleoanthropology from Ankara University, focusing on paleoanthropology, human osteology, and dental anthropology. His doctoral research centered on these specialized areas, contributing to the understanding of human osteology and morphology. Currently, Dr. Erdem serves as a faculty member in the Department of Anthropology at Mardin Artuklu University. His research interests include paleoanthropology, human osteology, dental anthropology, and Paleolithic human behavior. He continues to advance knowledge in these fields through his academic endeavors and publications. | en_US |
