Mardin Devlet Hastanesi çalışanlarının egzersize katılım motivasyonlarının incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, Mardin Devlet hastanesinde görev yapan personellerin egzersize katılım motivasyonlarının incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Mardin Devlet Hastanesinde görev yapan 1100 sağlık personeli, örneklemini ise araştırmanın evreninden tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 286 sağlık çalışanı oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak Görgülü (2019)'nün Türkçeye uyarladığı "Egzersize Katılım Motivasyonu Envanteri-2" isimli ölçek kullanılmıştır. Anket yönetimi ile toplanan veriler SPPS 20 programında değerlendirilmiştir. Programda tanımlayıcı istatistiklerden frekans, yüzde, ortalama ve standart sapma kullanılmıştır. Hipotez testleri için veriler normal dağılım göstermediği için Mann Whitney-U testi ile Kruskal-Wallis testi yapılmıştır. Kruskal-Wallis testinde gruplararası karşılaştırmalar yapılırken bonferonni düzeltmesi yapılmıştır. Araştırmada cinsiyet değişkenine göre egzersize katılım motivasyonu ölçeğinin canlılık, negatif sağlık, pozitif sağlık, kilo yönetimi ve görünüm alt boyutlarında kadınların lehine, dayanıklılık alt boyutunda erkekler lehine istatistiki olarak anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Yaş değişkenine göre bağlanma ve rekabet alt boyutlarında 19-25 yaş grubu ve 26-31 yaş grubu ile diğer büyük yaş grupları arasındaki fark büyük yaş grupları lehine, görünüm alt boyutunda 34 yaş ve üzeri ile daha küçük yaş grupları arasındaki farklılık küçük yaş grupları lehine istatiksel olarak anlamlıdır. Medeni duruma göre stres yönetimi, bağlanma, rekabet, negatif sağlık alt boyutlarında bekârla evli değişkeni arasında evlilerin lehine, görünüm ve dayanıklılık alt boyutlarında ise anlamı farklılık bekârların lehinedir. Araştırmada, Mardin Devlet Hastanesinde çalışanların genel olarak egzersize katılım motivasyonlarının orta düzeyde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This research was conducted to examine the motivations of the staff working at Mardin State Hospital for participation in exercise. The universe of the study is 1,100 medical staff stationed at Mardin State Hospital, while 286 health workers whose sample was selected by incidental sampling method from the research universe. As a data collection tool, the scale named "Motivation to Participate in Exercise-2" adapted by Görgülü (2019) for the Turkish sample was used. Data collected by survey management was assessed in the SPPS 20 programme. The program used frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation from identifying statistics. The Kruskal-Wallis test was conducted with the Mann Whitney-U test as the data for the hypothesis tests did not show normal distribution. In the study, a statistically significant difference was found in favor of women in the vitality, negative health, positive health, weight management and appearance sub-dimensions of the motivation to participate in exercise according to the gender variable, and in favor of men in the endurance sub-dimension. According to the age variable, the difference between the 19-25 age group and the 26-31 age group and other large age groups in the sub-dimensions of attachment and competition was statistically in favor of the older age groups, and the difference between the 34 years and older and younger age groups in the appearance sub-dimension was in favor of the younger age groups as meaningful. According to marital status, the difference between single and married variable in stress management, attachment, competition, negative health sub-dimensions is in favor of married people, while the difference in appearance and resilience sub-dimensions is in favor of singles. The research concluded that the motivations of employees at Mardin State Hospital to participate in exercise in general were moderate.
