Yok Olmaya Yüz Tutmuş Bir Kültür Mekanı: Dereiçi (Kıllıt) Köyü Örneği

Abstract

Kültür, tarih boyunca toplum tarafından üretilmiş ve nesilden nesile aktarılan maddi ve manevi özelliklerin bütünüdür. Bir kültürün varlığını devam ettirebilmesi için bir topluluğa, topluluğun da fiziksel bir mekâna ihtiyacı vardır. Bazı mekânlar doğası gereği kozmopolittir; tarihsel ve sosyolojik nedenlerle çeşitli kültürlere ev sahipliği yapar. Mardin, birçok dinin ve dilin bir arada yaşadığı bir kültür mekânıdır. Savur ilçesine bağlı Dereiçi Köyü bunun mikro örneğidir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, bu kültürel mekânın neden yok olma tehlikesiyle karşı karşıya olduğunu belirlemek için köydeki göç örüntülerini ve göç nedenlerini incelemektir. Nitel bulgular göçün sosyal, politik ve ekonomik birçok nedeni olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Göçlerin meydana gelmesi ve buna bağlı olarak köy nüfusunun azalmasıyla, kültürel mekânlar yok olma riski altındadır. Dereiçi Village in Savur district is a micro-example of this. The purpose of this research is to examine the migration patterns and causes of migration in the village in order to determine why this culturrl sprce is frcing the drnger of extinction. The qurlitrtive findings revealed that migration has multiple social, political, and economic causes. With the occurrence of migrrtions rnd the consequent depopulrtion of the villrge, culturrl sprces rre rt risk of disappearing. However, after the restoration of these culturrl plrces, it wrs observed thrt there were temporrry returns to the villrge.
