Kürtlerin modern eğitim çabaları bağlamında Dicle Fırat Koleji örneği

Abstract

Kürtlerin 1800'lü yılların sonundan itibaren başlayan modern eğitim inşa çabaları bugüne değin önemli bir birikim oluşturmuştur. Buna karşın söz konusu birikim yeterince araştırma konusu yapılmamıştır. Bu çalışma, Kürtlerin modern eğitim çabaları bağlamında Dicle Fırat Koleji deneyimini çözümlemeyi amaçlamıştır. Çalışmanın yönteminde, Kürtler ve eğitim bağlamında Kürtlerin, dil, edebiyat, eğitim ve kültürlerini, sosyo-politik ve sosyo-linguistik açıdan inceleme imkânı veren monografi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda Kolejde çalışanlardan bir çalışma grubu belirlenmiştir. Çalışma grubu Kolejin sahibi ve kurucusu, yöneticisi, öğretmenleri ve velilerinden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış bir görüşme formu hazırlanmıştır. Görüşmelerde de yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile mülakat yapılmıştır. Elde dilen veriler içerik analiz ile çözümlenmiş ve tematik olarak düzenlenmiştir. Literatür taraması bağlamında elde edilen bütün veriler ile çalışma grubu ile yapılan görüşmeler incelendiğinde çalışmaya konu olan Kolejin, Kürt modern eğitim çabaları arasında bir yönüyle ilk örnek olması diğer yönüyle de son örneklerinden biri olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu anlamda Kolejin hem kuruluş felsefesi hem de işlevselliği bakımından Kürt modern eğitim çabasının deneyimi olacak bir öneme sahip olduğu görülmüş ve özellikle sosyo-linguistik açıdan eğitim mücadelesi ile Kürtlerin kendi dillerini ve kültürlerini koruyarak yaşatmak istediği sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır.

The efforts of the Kurds to build modern education, which started at the end of the 1800s, have created an important accumulation until today. However, this accumulation has not been the subject of sufficient research. This study aimed to analyze the Dicle Fırat College experience in the context of the modern educational efforts of the Kurds. In the method of the study, the monograph method, which gives the opportunity to examine the language, literature, education and culture of the Kurds in terms of socio-political and socio-linguistic, was used in the context of the Kurds and education. In this context, a working group was determined from the employees of the College. The working group consists of the owner and founder, administrator, teachers and parents of the College. A semi-structured interview form was prepared as a data collection tool. Interviews were also conducted using a semi-structured interview form. The obtained data were analyzed by content analysis and organized thematically. When all the data obtained in the context of the literature review and the interviews with the study group are examined, it has been revealed that the College, which is the subject of the study, is the first example in one aspect and one of the last examples among the Kurdish modern education efforts. In this sense, it has been seen that the College has an importance that will be the experience of the Kurdish modern education effort in terms of both its founding philosophy and functionality, and it has emerged that the Kurds want to keep their own language and culture alive, especially with the struggle for education in terms of socio-linguistics.
