Abstract

Masallar bireysel ve sosyal ilişkiler içerisinde yaratılan ve bir kuşaktan diğerine aktarılan geleneksel anlatılardır. Masallar çocukların hayallerini süsleyen ve zenginleştiren eserlerdir. Çocuklar masal okuma ya da dinlemeyle çok mutlu olurlar; zaten masalların özelliklerinden biri de masalların eğlendirici olmasıdır. Çocuklar masal dinleyerek hayal dünyalarını renklendirmek ve o andan tad almak isterler. Lakin masallar sadece eğlendiren yönleriyle ulaşmazlar çocuklara, masallar bazı yönleriyle öğreticidir, kendi içerisinde birçok bilgi, nasihat ve toplumsal kod barındırır ve çocuklara ulaştırır. Denilebilir ki masallar eğlendiren gizli öğretmenlerdirler. Tezimizin amacı Kürtçe'nin Kurmancî lehçesine ait halk masalları ile eğitim arasında var olan köprüyü ortaya çıkarmaktır. Bu amaçla çocuk gelişimiyle ilgili iki teoriyi baz alarak tezimizi inşa ettik. Tezimizde Kürtçe'nin Kurmancî lehçesine ait halk masaları bu iki teoriye göre incelenecektir. İlkin masalların nasıl ve ne öğrettiğinin daha iyi bilinebilmesi için masallar Jean Piaget'nin Zihisel Gelişim Teorisine göre incelenecektir. Bu amaçla masalların içerdiği ve çocukların zihninde oluşabilecek muhtemel şemalar ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılacaktır. Bir diğer teori ise Lawrence Kohlberg'in Ahlaki Gelişim Teorisidir ki tezimiz bu teoriyi baz alarak masal kahramanlarının davranışlarının yapısını, ahlaksal düzey ve seviyelerini tespit etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Böylece kahramanın başarısı ya da yenilgisi, ödüllendirilmesi ya da cezalandırmasından yola çıkarak kahraman davranışları incelenecektir. Bu şekilde tezimiz Kürt masallarında çocuklara önerilen davranışlar ve kaçınılması gereken davranışları tespit etmeyi amaçlamaktadır.

Tales are traditional narrations that are created in individual and social relationship and transferred to the next generation. Tales are works that enrich and colour children's dreams. Children become happy by listening to or reading tales; another caharacteristics of tales is that they are enjoyable. Children want to colour their imagination and enjoy it by listening to tales. Nevertheless, tales don't just mean fun for children; they are didactic in some ways and they bear many information, advices and social codes in themselves and transmit them to children. We can say that tales are secret teachers which entertain. The aim of this thesis is to identify the bridge between education and the tales that exist in Kurdish Kurmanji Dialect. Accordingly, we focused on two theories on child development and projected the thesis on these two theories. In the thesis, folktales of Kurmanji Kurdish will be studied according to these theories. First, the tales will be analysed according to Jean Piaget's theory of Cognitive Development. So, we will try to find out the content of the tales and the possible mental schemas that may form in children's mind. The other theory is Lawrence Kohlberg's theory of Moral Development. The thesis aims to determine the structure of the behaviours of the characters of tales and their moral level. In this way we will analyze the characters' behaviours by focusing on their victory or defeat; their being rewarded or being punished. In sum this thesis aims to find out the behaviours suggested to carry out and to avoid in Kurdish folktales.
