Abstract

Murathan Mungan, in his novel named Yüksek Topuklar, served the position of the woman identity in the social structure along with woman’s inner world. In the novel, an effort to explain other women by the central character who have felt social gender phenomenon dated from her childhood is seen. Character, on the other hand reaches her own wareness during this process. In this study, we will consider the construction of woman identities in the Yüksek Topuklar novel at length over the central character, Nermin.
