Rehber öğretmenlerin manevi yönelim düzeylerinin bazı değişkenler açısından incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı psikolojik danışmanlık ve rehberlik öğretmenlerinin manevi yönelimlerinin, maneviyatla ve psikolojik danışmanlık ile ilgili düşüncelerinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda; nicel araştırma yaklaşımlarından hipotez içeren (explanatory) araştırma yaklaşımı benimsenmiş ve veriler Mardin'in 10 ilçesinde Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı okullarda görev yapan 205 rehberlik öğretmeninden elde edilmiştir. Rehberlik öğretmenlerinin maneviyat ile ilgili görüşlerini ortaya koymak adına araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanmış "Kişisel Bilgi Formu" ve "Manevi Yönelim Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde; frekans analizinin yanı sıra değişkenler arası farklılıkların incelendiği ANOVA ve t-testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda; rehberlik öğretmenlerinin manevi yönelimlerinin ortalamanın üzerinde olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca; maneviyat konusunda bilimsel yayın okuyanların manevi yönelim düzeylerinin anlamlı derecede yüksek olduğu, manevi yönelimi yüksek olan öğretmenlerin öğrencilerin manevi ihtiyaçlarını göz önünde bulundurduğu, öğrencilerin manevi destek isteme haklarının olduğunu düşündüğü ve öğrencilere manevi destek verme isteğinin olduğu gözlenmiştir.

The aim of this research is to examine the spiritual orientation of psychological counseling and guidance teachers and their thoughts about spirituality. For this purpose, explonatory research method, one of the quantitative research methods, has been identified and a survey was conducted with 205 guidance teachers serving in the Ministry of Education in 10 districts of Mardin. In this study, the "Personal Information Form" and "Spiritual Orientation Scale" form which was prepared by the researcher was used to indicate the guidance teacher's views on spirituality. In the analysis of the obtained data, in addition to frequency analysis, ANOVA and t-test was used to examine differences between variables. As a result of the research, guidance teachers' spiritual orientation turned out to be above average. Besides, it has been observed that those who read scientific publications on spiritualty have a significantly high level of spiritual orientation, teachers who have high level of spiritual orientation consider their students' spiritual needs, they think their students have right to ask for spiritual support and they have a desire to provide spiritual support to students.
