Ziyaretçilerin Fotoğraf Çekme Davranışlarının İncelenmesi: Göbeklitepe Örneği

Abstract

Turizm ve fotoğraf, birbirini tamamlayan ayrılmaz birer olgudur. Bireyler, hayatlarının her önemlianında olduğu gibi seyahat ve turizm aktivitelerine katılırken yaşadıkları deneyimlerifotoğraflamak istemektedirler. Ancak fotoğraf çekme davranışlarının ne şekilde ve ne üzerineolduğu üzerine birtakım belirsizlikler vardır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın amacı, Göbeklitepe’ye gelenziyaretçilerin fotoğraf çekme davranışlarının incelenmesidir. Çalışmada nitel araştırmayöntemlerinden biri olan gözlem tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmacı, katılımcı olarakönceden hazırlanmış gözlem formu ile gözlem sürecine dâhil olmuştur. Araştırma kapsamında 50ziyaretçi gözlemlenerek, elde edilen bulgular gözlem formuna kaydedilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerinanalizinde tematik analizden faydalanılmış ve ana temalar, alt temalar ile kodlar belirlenerekfotoğraf çekme davranışlarının sıklık değerleri tespit edilmiştir. Bulgular ışığında, ziyaretçilerinfotoğraf çekme davranışlarına ilişkin 3 ana tema, 5 alt tema ve bunlarla ilgili kodlar ortayaçıkmıştır. Ziyaretçilerin daha çok arkadaşlarıyla birlikte fotoğraf çektikleri ve özçekim (selfie)yaptıkları görülmüştür. Bu esnada çeşitli jest ve mimiklerde bulundukları da tespit edilmiştir.Ayrıca ziyaretçilerin kendi fotoğraflarının yanında bulundukları doğal çevrenin de fotoğrafınıçektiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Zyaretçilerin Göbekliltepe’de fotoğraf çekme davranışlarını sergilerkenözellikle “T” biçimli sütunların ve sütunlar üzerinde yer alan kabartmaların görünebileceğinoktada fotoğraf çektikleri görülmüştür. Fotoğraf çekerken jest ve mimiklerinin daha çok şaşkınlıkve mutluluk içerdiği de tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca ziyaretçilerin güneş ışığını fotoğraf çekim açısınagöre ayarlamak gibi çeşitli faktörlere de dikkat ederek fotoğraf çektikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Tourism and photography are inseparable phenomena that complete each other. Individualswant to take photograph their experiences when traveling and participating tourism activities,as in every important moment of their lives. However, there are some uncertainties about howand on what photo-taking behaviors are. In this context, the aim of the study is to examine thephoto-taking behavior of visitors in Göbeklitepe. Observation method, which is one of thequalitative research methods, was used in the study. The researcher was included in theobservation process with the pre-made observation form as a participant. Within the scope ofthe research, 50 visitors were observed and the findings were recorded in the observation form.Thematic analysis was used in the analysis of obtained data, and the frequency values of photo taking behaviors were found by determining the main themes, sub-themes and codes. Given thesefindings, 3 main themes, 5 sub-themes and codes related to the photo-taking behaviors of thevisitors emerged. It was observed that the visitors mostly took photos and selfies with theirfriends. It was also found that they used various gestures and mimics in the meantime.Moreover, it was revealed that visitors mostly took photographs of the natural environmentthey were in, along with their own photographs. It was observed that the visitors tookphotographs at the point where the "T" shaped columns and the reliefs on the columns that couldbe seen, while displaying photo-taking behavior in Göbeklitepe. It has also been determinedthat their gestures and facial expressions mostly reflect surprise and happiness when takingphotos. In addition, it was concluded that the visitors took photos by paying attention to variousfactors such as adjusting the sunlight in accordance with the shooting angle.
