The origin, developments and distribution of Khabur Ware are issues that have been much discussed. Recent excavations in the hitherto unexplored region of Hakkari, in southeastern Anatolia, yielded a chamber tomb replete with goods, among them fragments of Khabur Ware. Though few in number, their association with examples of Van -Urmia ware, for instance, have significant chronological implications.en_US
