Stylistic Rhetoric in the Arab Heritage from types to Formation Abd al-Qaher al-Jurjani as a model

Abstract

ملخّص البحث: يقوم هذا البحث على دراسة البلاغة في التراث العربيّ من جهة بنيتها أو مادّتها، فقد عُرفت البلاغة منذ بدايات الدرس النقدي بأنها مجموعة من الأشكال التي رصدها النقّاد بالنظر إلى أدب الشعراء المولّدين الذين استكثروا من تلك الأشكال، وتمثّلت خير تمثّل في كتاب البديع لابن المعتزّ، كان بجوار بلاغة البديع أو الأشكال بلاغة أخرى تركّز على التشكيل أو التركيب أو النظم، وكان رائدها بحسب علمنا الجاحظ، ووجدنا لها صدى عند أبي هلال العسكريّ؛ على أنها كانت تجاور بلاغة الأشكال في كتابه (الصناعتين)، وظلّت بلاغة الأشكال طاغية في التفكير البلاغي العربي إلى أن جاء عبد القاهر الجرجانيّ بنظريته في النظم في كتابه (دلائل الإعجاز). رأينا أن نسخّر المنهج الوصفي والتاريخي، ونتّكئ على أدواتهما التحليلية لكشف النقاب عن بلاغة أسلوبية شكلية تنبثق عن بلاغة الأشكال البديعية، وأخرى نصّية قوامها بلاغة التشكيل، وتأتي أهمية البحث من دراسته المنهجية المؤطّرة لبلاغة مرحلة التأسيس وما سبقها وفق التقسيم الذي أنف ذكره، ورأينا أن ندير البحث على مبحثين: الأول في الحديث عن البلاغة الأسلوبية الشكليّة أو بلاغة الأشكال، والآخر عن البلاغة الأسلوبية النصّية أو بلاغة التشكيل، وهو تقسيم جديد لم نعهد حديثًا عنه سابقًا.

Abstract: This research is based on the study of rhetoric in the Arab heritage from the aspect of its structure or substance. Rhetoric has been known since the beginning of the critical lesson as a group of types that were observed by critics looking at the literature of the modern poets who have used a lot these types, and it has been represented best in the book of Al Badi 'by Ibn Al Mu'taz. Beside the ever-innovative rhetoric or other types, there was rhetoric that focused on formation, composition, or systems and, as far as we know, the pioneer of this trend was Al Jahiz. In addition, we have found the same style used by Abu Hilal Al askari where it was adjacent to the rhetoric of the forms in his book (Al Sina’atain). The rhetoric of the forms remained dominant in Arab rhetorical thinking until Abd al-Qaher al-Jurjani came up with his theory of composition in his book (Dalael al E’jaz) Evidence of Miracles. We have thought of using the descriptive and historical method, and rely on their analytical tools to unveil a formal stylistic rhetoric emerging from the rhetoric of the creative forms, and a textual one based on the rhetoric of formation. The importance of the research comes from its systematic study of the rhetoric of the foundation stage and what preceded it according to the aforementioned division. Therefore, we decided to make the research into two topics: the first is to talk about formal stylistic rhetoric or form rhetoric, and the other is on textual stylistic rhetoric or diacritical rhetoric, which is a new division that we have not heard about previously.
