| dc.description | The phenomenon of urbanization in Islamic civilization is one of the topics that caused great controversy in early Western thought, in the work of early sociologists and economists, and in Western Orientalism. And if some of these trends did justice to Islamic civilization by admitting that Islam is the religion of civilization and civilization, other trends have been denied. The adjective (civil) of Islamic civilization by deliberately distorting the facts, and cutting into untrue facts, regarding the Islamic religion as the cause of the phenomena of tyranny and the denial of civil rights in property and freedom of work and trade, and the denial of the civilization character of Islamic civilization, and its positive effects on Western civilization. There is a great overlap and differences in the semantics of the conceptual system: (civilization, civilization, culture, urbanization ... etc). Therefore, it is necessary to define concepts and terms, and to adopt qualitative and quantitative measures and indicators in measuring the phenomenon of urbanization. The issue in its cognitive dimensions is not a matter of terms and linguistic connotations. Not only idiomatic, but may also have ideological dimensions? Therefore, it is necessary at the outset to clarify concepts and investigate this problematic in the Western knowledge heritage, from the Enlightenment era through the literature of sociology, economics and Orientalism, and then adopt some quantitative and qualitative indicators to measure these phenomena in the Islamic civilization. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | تُعد ظاهرة التمدن في الحضارة الاسلامية من الموضوعات,التي أثارت جدلاً كبيراً في الفكر الغربي بوقت مبكر, في أعمال علماء الاجتماع والاقتصاد الأوائل وفي الاستشراق الغربي.وإذا كانت بعض هذه الاتجاهات قد أنصفت الحضارة الاسلامية بإقرارها بأن الاسلام دين المدنية والحضارة,فإن اتجاهات أخرى قد أنكرت صفة (المدنِّية) عن الحضارة الإسلامية بتشويه متعمد للحقائق,واجتزاء وقائع لا صحة لها ,في اعتبار الدين الاسلامي سبباً لظواهر الاستبداد وإنكار الحقوق المدنية في الملكية وحرية العمل والتجارة, ونفي صفة المدنِّية عن الحضارة الاسلامية,وآثارها الايجابية على الحضارة الغربية.ومن نافلة القول,أن هناك تداخل كبير واختلافات في دلالات منظومة مفاهيم:(الحضارة,المدنية,الثقافة,التمدن..الخ) لذلك لابد من تحديد المفاهيم والمصطلحات,واعتماد مقاييس ومؤشرات نوعية وكمية في قياس ظاهرة التمدن.وقد تكون المسألة في أبعادها المعرفية ليست مسألة مصطلحات ودلالات لغوية واصطلاحية فحسب,وإنما قد تكون ذات أبعاد ايديولوجية أيضاً؟ لذا لابد في البداية من توضيح المفاهيم وتقصي هذه الاشكالية في التراث المعرفي الغربي,منذ عصر الأنوار مروراً في أدبيات علم الاجتماع والاقتصاد والاستشراق,ومن ثم اعتماد بعض المؤشرات الكمية والنوعية لقياس هذه الظواهر في الحضارة الاسلامية. | en_US |
