Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the dynamic structure of cultural memory and linguistic identity from the perspective of literary tourism and to reveal the role of places associated with literary works and authors in the preservation and reproduction of cultural identity. A qualitative research approach was adopted, and a literature review method was employed. National and international academic studies, books, articles, and theses related to the concepts of literary tourism, cultural memory, and linguistic identity were reviewed. The literature analysis indicates that literary tourism is not merely a touristic activity but also an important instrument for the transmission of cultural memory and the visibility of linguistic identity. Literary sites contribute to individuals' and communities' connections with the past while also enabling the preservation and reinterpretation of linguistic elements. Furthermore, cultural memory and linguistic identity were found to be dynamic constructs that continuously evolve through social, historical, and spatial interactions rather than remaining fixed. The findings demonstrate that the interaction between cultural memory and linguistic identity is continuously reconstructed through literary tourism practices, thereby contributing to the increased visibility and preservation of local cultures. Future research is recommended to conduct comparative analyses across different geographical and cultural contexts.
