Seyfuddîn El-amidî'nin İmamet Anlayışı

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, kelâm ilminin önemli meselelerinden biri olan imâmet konusu, Seyfuddîn el-Âmidî'nin görüşleri kapsamında ele alınmıştır. Hz. Peygamber'in (s.a.s.) vefatından sonra İslâm toplumunun karşılaştığı en büyük meselelerden biri, devlet başkanının kim olacağı ve bu makamın nasıl belirleneceği olmuştur. Çalışmada öncelikle imâmet kavramı, Kur'ân ve Sünnet bağlamında ele alınmış, ardından farklı mezheplerin yaklaşımları değerlendirilmiştir. Daha sonra Âmidî'nin imâmet anlayışı, kullandığı aklî ve naklî deliller ışığında incelenmiş ve onun nass, seçim ve davet gibi belirleme yöntemlerine dair görüşleri ortaya konulmuştur. Ayrıca imâmet için gerekli görülen şartlar, ittifak edilen ve tartışmalı yönleriyle ele alınmıştır. Çalışmanın devamında ilk dört halifenin meşruiyetine dair tartışmalar ve fazilet meselesi üzerinde durulmuştur. Son bölümde ise Âmidî'nin imâmet anlayışı, modern siyaset felsefesindeki otorite, meşruiyet, hukuk devleti ve temsil kavramlarıyla mukayese edilerek incelenmiştir. Bu çerçevede Âmidî'nin yaklaşımının, hem kendi dönemine hem de günümüz siyaset tartışmalarına ışık tutabilecek nitelikte olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. In this study, the issue of imāmah, one of the central topics in Islamic theology, is examined within the framework of Seyfuddīn al-Âmidī's views. After the passing of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), one of the greatest challenges faced by the Muslim community was determining who should assume the leadership of the state and how this position should be assigned. The study first addresses the concept of imāmah in the context of the Qur'an and Sunnah and then evaluates the perspectives of different Islamic schools of thought. Subsequently, al-Âmidī's understanding of imāmah is analyzed, focusing on his use of rational and textual evidence, as well as his views on methods of designation such as scriptural texts, selection, and invitation. The conditions deemed necessary for imāmah, along with points of consensus and controversy, are also discussed. Further, the study examines debates regarding the legitimacy and virtues of the first four caliphs. In the final section, alÂmidī's conception of imāmah is compared with modern political philosophy concepts such as authority, legitimacy, the rule of law, and representation. It is concluded that al-Âmidī's approach provides illuminating insights for both his own era and contemporary political debates. Keywords: Imāmah, Caliph, al-Âmidī, Shīʿa, Ahl al-Sunnah, Legitimacy
