PORCULARIN KİŞİLİK ÖZELLİKLERİ İLE BEDENLERİNİ BEĞENME DÜZEYLERİ ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, sporcuların beden algıları ile kişilik özellikleri arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmanın örneklemini, İstanbul Gelişim Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu’nda okuyan 175 sporcu oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak, Karancı ve arkadaşları tarafından 2007 yılında geçerlilik ve güvenirliği yapılan “Eysenck Kişilik Anketi” kısa formu ile Anlı ve arkadaşları tarafından 2015 yılında geçerlilik ve güvenirliği yapılan “Bedeni Beğenme Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde SPSS 20 paket programı kullanılmıştır. Verilerin normal bir dağılıma sahip olup olmadığını öğrenmek için tek örneklem “Kolmogorov-Smirnov” testi homojenliğini belirlemek için “Anova-Homogenety of variance” testi uygulanmış ve verilerin homojen ve normal bir dağılıma sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde, tanımlayıcı istatistik ve pearsoan korelasyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Yapılan tanımlayıcı istatistik sonunda; sporcuların bedeni beğenme skoru (41,7219±7,37593), dışadönük kişilik skoru (3,2733±1,41454), nörotik kişilik skoru (3,1637±1,75133) ve psikotik kişilik skoru (2,4588±1,34607) olarak belirlenmiştir. Korelasyon analizi sonucunda, dışa dönük kişilik boyutu ile bedeni beğenme skoru arasında olumlu yönde bir ilişki olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır.

The aim of this study is to introduce the relationship between the athletes’ personality traits and Their bodies admiration. The sample of the study consists of 175 athletes who studying in İstanbul Gelişim University School of Physical Education and Sports. Eysenck Personality Survey (Shortened Version) (EKA- GGK). Reliability and validity studies have been made by Karancı and his colleagues in 2007 and Body Admiration Scaleng Scale of which validity and reliability has been done by Anlı and his friends in 2015, have been used as data collection tool in this study. SPSS 20 Packet Programme has been used for analyzing the collected data. “KolmogorovSmirnov” single sample test has been applied to learn whether the data have a normal distribution or not. “Anova-Homogenety of Variance” Test has been applied to detect the data homogeneity and It has been found out that Data have normal and homogeneous distribution. Descriptive statistics and pearson correlation analysis were used to analyze the data. At the end of the descriptive statistics found that the athletes’ bodies admiration score (41,7219 ± 7,37593), the extroverted personality score (3,2733 ± 1,41454), the neurotic personality score (3,1637 ± 1,75133) and the psychotic personality score , 4588 ± 1.34607).At the end of the correlation analysis, It has been detected that there is a positive way correlation between extroverted and body admiration.
