İdari bilimlerden farklı olarak sağlık alanına özel; sağlık sigortacılığı, sağlık ekonomisi, sağlık hukuku, sağlık hizmetlerinde kalite, sağlık hizmetlerinde pazarlama, sağlıkta stratejik yönetim, sağlıkta iletişim, sağlık hizmetlerinde insan kaynakları yönetimi gibi bir çok uzmanlık alanını kapsayan hizmetlerin organizasyonu, yönetimi konusunda geniş kapsamlı eğitim programlarını içeren Sağlık Yönetimi Bölümü’nün mezunlarına, YÖK Yürütme Kurulu’nun 26.08.1998 tarihli kararı uyarınca “Sağlık Yöneticisi” unvanı verilmektedir.
In contrast to the field of administrative sciences, the graduates of the Department of Health Management receive training in a wide range of disciplines, including the organisation and management of services across numerous specialised areas. These include health insurance, health economics, health law, quality in health services, and marketing in health services. The aforementioned programmes, which include services, strategic management in health, communication in health, and human resources management in health services, have been designated as ‘Health Manager’ in accordance with the decision of the Executive Board of Higher Education on 26 August 1998. The occupational profiles of graduates in health management are as follows: Students who have successfully completed and graduated from the Department of Health Management may be employed in the following roles: Graduates may be employed as middle and senior managers responsible for administrative, financial and technical affairs in a wide range of service areas, including pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing industry organisations. They may also pursue further academic studies, including master's and doctoral programmes.
