Abstract

Araştırma, Ironi sanatını iki komşu ülkede ünlü iki yazar olan Zakariya Tamer ve Aziz Nesin'in eserleri üzerinden tartışmaktadır. Bu araştırma, bu iki yazarın Ironisanatını nasıl kullandığını vurgulamayı ve Ironiın her birindeki özelliklerini kapsamlı bir şekilde incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, bir giriş, üç bölüm, sonuçlar ve önerilerden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm, araştırmada geçen terimleri tanıtarak Ironisanatını ve edebiyattaki uygulamalarını genel olarak, kısa hikaye özelinde ise ayrıntılı olarak ele alır. Ironiın tarihsel süreçleri ve Ironii eğilimleriyle ünlü önemli yazarlar hakkında bilgi verir. Ayrıca, Suriye ve Türkiye'deki Ironii hikayelerin oluşum koşullarına dair kısa bir bilgi sunar ve yazarların biyografileri ile en ünlü Ironii hikayelerine detaylı bir şekilde yer verir. İkinci bölüm, yazarların ele aldığı Ironii temaları (sosyal Ironi, politik Ironi, dini Ironi, ekonomik Ironi) inceler ve aralarındaki benzerlikler, farklılıklar, örtüşmeler ve karşıtlıkları tartışarak karşılaştırma yapar. Üçüncü bölüm, Ironiın içeriklerini ifade etme konusunda yazarların kullandığı yöntem ve teknikleri karşılaştırarak sanatsal yönlerini incelemeye odaklanır.

The research discusses the art of irony in the works of two writers renowned for this style from neighboring countries: Zakaria Tamer and Aziz Nesin. It compares their artistic and thematic outputs, focusing on the use of irony by these two writers. The study aims to highlight the characteristics of irony in their works and to compare them. The research is divided into an introduction, three chapters, followed by results and recommendations. The first chapter introduces the terms used in the research, providing an overview of the art of irony and its application in literature in general and in short stories in particular. It outlines the historical development of irony through literary eras and mentions notable authors and short story writers known for their satirical tendencies. It also briefly introduces Syrian and Turkish satirical short stories and the conditions of their emergence, then details the biographies of the two authors and their most famous satirical short stories. The second chapter focuses on the subjects addressed satirically by the two writers (social irony, political irony, religious irony, economic irony), comparing them and discussing similarities, differences, intersections, and contrasts. The third chapter examines the artistic aspect by comparing the techniques and styles used by the two writers in expressing the essence of irony.
