İbn S?n?’nın zihin Felsefesinde eylem süreci

Abstract

Bu makalenin amacı, İbn S?n?’nın düşüncesinde açıklandığı şekliyle eylem sürecini ve bu süreci oluşturan zihinsel durumları çözümlemektir. Felsefî açıdan eylem, bir dizi zihinsel halin eşlik ettiği bir süre ç sonucunda ortaya çıkar. İbn S?n ? da bu minvalde bir yaklaşım ortaya koymaktadır. Ona göre, eylemin yani ihtiyarî hareketlerin oluşması, idrak, iştiyak ve bedensel hareketlerin oluşmasına bağlıdır. Bu bir süreçtir ve İbn S?n?’ya göre tahayyül, düşünme, iştah, öfke ve irade gibi kimi haller bu sürecin temel unsurlarıdır. Bu makalede, İbn S?n?’nın eylem teorisinde söz konusu zihinsel hallerin eylem sürecinde birbirleriyle olan ilişkileri ve eylemin ortaya çıkması açısından icra ettikleri işlevler tahlil edilmektedir.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the process of action and the mental states that form this process as expounded in İbn Sīnā’s philosophy. From a philosophical point of view, action emerges as a result of a mental process accompanied by a number of mental states. According to Ibn Sīnā, the occurrences of action –voluntary actions – are dependent on the formation of cognition, desire and bodily movements. This is in fact a process, and a series of mental states/circumstances such as imagination, thinking, desire, appetite, anger, and will, are the essential components of it. This article takes up the relations of these states with each other throughou t the process and analyzes the functions they perform in terms of conducing to an action.
