Abstract
Yapılan bu çalışmada Mardin Artuklu Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu bölümlerinde öğrenim gören üniversite öğrencilerinin genel beslenme ve sporcu beslenmesi bilgi düzeylerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmaya 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılı içerisinde Mardin Artuklu Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulunda öğrenim gören 206 kişi katılım sağlamıştır. Bu araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, "Kişisel Bilgi Formu", "Beslenme Bilgi Formu" ve "Sporcu Beslenmesi Bilgi Formu" kullanılmıştır. İlk bölümde kullanılan kişisel bilgi formu öğrencilerin yaş, cinsiyet, bölüm ve sınıf gibi demografik bilgilerini saptamaya yönelik sorulardan oluşmaktadır. Genel beslenme bilgi formunda 10, sporcu beslenmesi bilgi formunda da 10 soru olmak üzere toplamda 20 sorudan oluşan bilgi formu uygulanmış, elde edilen veriler doğru ve yanlış verilen cevaplar üzerinden değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmada; elde edilen verilerin sayısal değerlerle ifade edilebilmesi için, veriler bilgisayar ortamına aktarılarak, SPSS 24.0 paket programı yardımıyla istatistiksel analizleri yapılmıştır. Demografik bilgilere ait değişkenlerin ortaya koyulması amacı ile yüzde ve frekans değerleri kullanılmış olup, bu değişkenlerin analizinde ise ki-kare (x^2) testi uygulanmıştır. İstatistiksel analizlerin önem ve anlamlılık düzeyi p<0,05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Yapılan analiz ve değerlendirmeler neticesinde sonuç olarak BESYO öğrencilerinin, genel beslenme ve sporcu beslenmesi konusundaki bilinç düzeylerinin belirtilen dört ana değişkene göre farklılıklar gösterdiği gözlenmektedir. Cinsiyet değişkeni esas alındığında, kadın öğrencilerin erkek öğrencilere göre bilgi düzeylerinin daha iyi durumda olduklarını göstermektedir. Bölüm değişkenine göre yapılan değerlendirmede ise, BESYO öğrencilerinin genel ve sporcu beslenmesi bilgi düzeylerinin birbiri ile paralellik arz ettiği görülmektedir. Sınıf değişkeni ve yaş değişkeninde dikkat çeken husus ise, üst sınıflara çıktıkça ve yaş ortalaması arttıkça bilgi düzeylerinin arttığı gözlemlenmektedir.
In this study, it was aimed to examine the general nutrition and sports nutrition knowledge levels of university students studying at Mardin Artuklu University, Department of Physical Education and Sports. In the 2020-2021 academic year, 206 people studying at Mardin Artuklu University School of Physical Education and Sports participated in the research. In this study, "Personal Information Form", "Nutrition Information Form" and "Athlete Nutrition Information Form" were used as data collection tools. The personal information form used in the first part consists of questions to determine the demographic information of the students such as age, gender, department and class. There are 20 questions in total, 10 questions in the general nutrition information form and 10 questions in the sports nutrition information form. The data obtained were evaluated based on the correct and incorrect answers. In the research; In order to express the obtained data with numerical values, the data were transferred to the computer environment and statistical analyzes were made with the help of SPSS 24.0 package program. Percentage and frequency values were used to reveal the variables of demographic information, and the chi-square (x^2) t-test was applied in the analysis of these variables. The significance and importance level of statistical analyzes was accepted as p<0,05. As a result of the analysis and evaluations, it is observed that the consciousness levels of students about general nutrition and sports nutrition differ according to the four main variables mentioned. Based on the gender variable, it shows that the knowledge level of female students is better than male students. In the evaluation made according to the department variable, it is seen that the general and sports nutrition knowledge levels of students are parallel to each other. The point that draws attention in the class variable and age variable is that it is observed that the level of knowledge increases as the upper classes increase and the average age increases.
