Nasîrüddin et-Tûsî’nin Ezelî İlkelerle Hâdis Varlıkların İrtibatı Hakkındaki Bir Risâlesi (Risâle fi’l-‘illeti’t-tâmme)

Abstract

Bu makale, Nasîrüddin et-Tûsî'nin (ö. 672/1274), İbn Sînâcı (ö. 428/1037) kozmolojik açıklama modelinin ortaya çıkardığı, ezelî illetlerle sonradan meydana gelen hâdis maluller arasındaki ilişkinin, felsefî olarak nasıl kurulabileceğine dair dile getirdiği argümanları göstermeyi amaçlar. Tûsî'nin bu meseleye ilişkin genel değerlendirmeleri, Necmeddin elKâtibî'yle (ö. 675/1276) zorunlu varlığın ispatı hakkında yaptığı yazışmalarda bulunabilir. Ancak Tûsî, bu yazışmalarda meselenin, yalnızca, birtakım kelâmcılar açısından mahiyetine değinir. Onun İbn Sînâ ve felâsife cihetinden bu meseleye ilişkin yaklaşım ve çözüm önerileri, bu makalede tenkitli neşri ve aynı zamanda çevirisi sunulan Risâle fi'l-'illeti't-tâmme adlı eseri üzerinden takip edilebilir. Tûsî'nin bu risâledeki söz konusu meseleye ilişkin kanıtlarının başında, ezelî illetlerin, doğrudan hâdisin varlığının değil; hâdisin varlığının dayandığı hazırlamanın ilkesi olduğu hususu gelir. Bu tür bir illiyet sürecinde ise ezelî illetler, hâdisin varlığını bir kerede zorunlu kılmaz. Bu argümana dayalı olarak Tûsî, hâdis varlıkların, hem ezelî illetlere dayandığını hem de zamansal olarak sonradan mevcudiyet kazandığını gösteren bir açıklama sunmuş olur

This article aims to explore Na??r al-D?n al-??s?’s (d. 672/1274) philosophical argumentation on the problem of causal relationship between eternal (qad?m) causes and temporally originated beings (??dith), which is brought about by Avicennan (d. 428/1037) cosmology. al??s?’s general remarks on this problem could be found in his corresponding with Najm al-D?n al-K?tib? (d. 675/1276) on the demonstration of Necessary Existent. However, al-??s?, in his letters to alK?tib?, formulates the problem only from the point of view of theologians, but not philosophers. al-??s? offers a solution to the problem with a philosophical perspective in his treatise named Ris?la f? al-?illa al-t?mma. This article includes a critical edition of the treatise with a Turkish translation. al-??s?’s main argument on the problem in this treatise is that the eternal principles are not immediate causes of the temporally originated things, but they are causes of predispositions which the originated things depend on. This kind of causal relationship does not immediately require the existence of the originated things. On the basis of this argument, al-??s? gives a philosophical explanation of the necessary relationship between eternal causes and originated effects, by emphasizing their temporality
