Abstract

Kavramın özel içeriğiyle yapay zekâ, esas olarak son yüz yıl içinde gelişen makinelerin öğrenme biçimine işaret eder. Bilgi-bilimsel olarak temelleri yaklaşık yarım asır öncesine uzanan bu konunun, Leibniz'den bu yana, yani aşağı yukarı üç yüz yıldır, "Makineler düşünebilir mi?" sorusu etrafında felsefe alanında da gittikçe daha görünür bir şekilde tartışıldığı söylenebilir. Bu sebeple, günümüz felsefe araştırmalarında da önemli bir yer edinmeye başlayan bu konu, öyle anlaşılıyor ki zaman ilerledikçe felsefecilerin gündemini daha çok meşgul edecektir. Bu çalışma, söz konusu alandaki son gelişmelerin de eşliğinde, makinelerin öğrenme biçimleriyle insanın öğrenme biçimini karşılaştırarak makine öğrenmesinin tarihçesini ve felsefedeki yerini araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında, biri daha önce yapılan çalışmalarda sıkça rastlanan iki araştırma sorusuna cevap aranmaktadır. Çünkü Yapay Zeka üzerinde incelemelerde bulunan araştırmaların temelde şu iki soru üzerinde yoğunlaştıkları görülmektedir: "Makineler öğrenebilir mi?" ve "Makineler düşünebilir mi?" Ancak, bu sorulara ilave olarak, "düşünme" ve "öğrenme" pratiklerinin nasıl olacağına ilişkin daha alt soruların da sorulması gerekmektedir. Dolayısıyla, yapay zekânın öğrenme sürecindeki gelişmelerin irdelenmesiyle bir tarihçe sunulması ve felsefi arka planının odak noktasını görmek açısından önemli olmaktadır.

With the specific content of the concenpt, artificial İntelligence mainly refers to the way of learning machines that has developed the last hundred years. Since Leibniz, that is, about three hundred years ago, this subject, whose information-scientific foundations date back to about half a century ago, has been asked, "Can machines think?" it can be said that this question discussed more and more visibly in the field of philosophy. For this reason, this subject, which has started to take an important place in today's philosophy research, seems to occupy the agenda of philosophers more as time progresses. This study aims to investigate the history of machine learning and its place in philosophy by comparing the learning styles of humans, accompanied by the latest developments in the field. Within the scope of the study, one of which is two research questions frequently encountered in previous studies. Because it is seen that the researches on Artificial Intelligence mainly focus on the following two questions: "Can machines learn?" and "Can machines think?" However, in addition to these questions, it is necessary to ask sub-questions about how "thinking" and "learning" practices will be. Therefore, it is important to provide a history with the examination of artificial intelligence in the learning process and to see the focal point of the philosophical background.
