Prehistoric Excavations in Ballık Cave and Preliminary Results

Abstract

After the preliminary studies on the stratigraphy and chronology of Ballık Cave following its discovery in 2020, the existence of a deposit containing three different main layer was obvious At the lowest level, chipped stone artifacts dating approximately from 11,800 to 10,600 B.C. were found.
