Abstract
Bu araştırmada Mardin İli Merkezinde ve Midyat İlçesinde bulunan okullarda görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinin okullardaki fiziki duruma ilişkin görüşlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Nicel ve nitel veri toplama tekniklerinin uygulandığı bu çalışma karma araştırma modeliyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evreni, Mardin İli Merkezinde ve Midyat İlçesinde bulunan ilkokullarda görev yapan sınıf öğretmenleri; araştırmanın örneklemini ise seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 450 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. İlkokullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin okullardaki fiziki duruma ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesinde Okullardaki Fiziki Durum ölçeği ve 10 sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Ölçek, kişisel özellikleri ölçmeye yönelik ifadeler ve Okullardaki Fiziki Durum Ölçeği olmak üzere 2 bölümden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmadan elde edilen veriler SPSS 22.0 paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde; okullardaki fiziksel duruma ilişkin görüşler değerlendirilirken; t- testi ve Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır.Nicel verilere yönelik olarak yapılan analiz sonuçlarına göre elde edilen bulgularda cinsiyet, eğitim durumu, bulunduğu okuldaki çalışma yılı, mesleki kıdem ve okuldaki sınıf mevcudu ile okullardaki fiziki duruma ilişkin görüşler arasında anlamlı farklılık olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Yapılan yüz yüze görüşmeler sonrasında öğretmenlerin okulların 2 kat ve daha az olması gerektiği, okullardaki fiziki durumu yetersiz, okullardaki donanımların yetersiz, okul bahçesinin yetersiz, okulda engelli bireyler için alınan önlemlerin yetersiz, okuldaki lavaboların yetersiz ve okul kantininin yetersiz olduğu yönünde görüş bildirdikleri belirlenmiştir.
In this study, it was aimed to examine the opinions of the class teachers working in the schools in the center of Mardin and the district of Midyat. Quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques were applied and this study was conducted with mixed research model. The population of the study was consisted of primary school teachers working in primary schools in Mardin Province and Midyat District; The sample of the study consists of 450 teachers selected by random sampling method. The semi-structured interview form consisting of 10 questions and Physical Status Scale in Schools was used to determine the opinions of the teachers working in primary schools regarding the physical situation in schools. The scale consists of two parts: the expressions for measuring personal characteristics and the Physical Status Scale in Schools. The data obtained from the study were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 package program. In the analysis of the data; while evaluating the opinions about the physical situation in schools; t-test and One-way ANOVA were used. According to the results of the analysis made for quantitative data, it was found that there was no significant difference in tems of gender, educational background, working year in the school, seniority and class size in the school and the physical condition in the schools. After the face-to-face interviews, it was determined that the teachers stated that the schools should be 2 times or less, the physical condition in the schools was insufficient, the equipment in the schools was insufficient, the school yard was insufficient, the measures taken for the disabled people in the school were insufficient, the sinks in the school and the school canteen were insufficient
