| gperson.biography | Dr. Şehmus Aykol, Mardin Artuklu Üniversitesi Turizm Fakültesi Gastronomi ve Mutfak Sanatları Bölümü’nde öğretim üyesidir. Lisans eğitimini Bilkent Üniversitesi Turizm ve Otel İşletmeciliği Bölümü’nde tamamlamış, yüksek lisans derecesini Mardin Artuklu Üniversitesi Gastronomi ve Mutfak Sanatları Anabilim Dalı’ndan almıştır. Doktorasını Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli Üniversitesi’nde “Yavaş Turizm Motivasyonları” üzerine yapmıştır. Akademik çalışmaları turizm davranışı, turist psikolojisi, yavaş turizm, gastronomi turizmi, robotik hizmetler ve turizm sektöründe bilgi teknolojileri üzerine yoğunlaşmaktadır. Bu alanlarda uluslararası hakemli dergilerde yayımlanmış makaleleri, kitap bölümleri ve kongre bildirileri bulunmaktadır. Aykol, ulusal ve uluslararası araştırma projelerinde görev almış; gastronomi, kültürel miras ve destinasyon markalaşması gibi konularda katkılar sunmuştur. | |
| gperson.biography | Dr. Şehmus Aykol is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Tourism, Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, Mardin Artuklu University. He completed his undergraduate degree in Tourism and Hotel Management at Bilkent University, his master’s degree in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at Mardin Artuklu University, and his PhD at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University with a dissertation on “Slow Tourism Motivations.” His academic research focuses on tourist behavior, tourist psychology, slow tourism, gastronomy tourism, robotic services, and the use of information technologies in the tourism sector. He has published articles in international peer-reviewed journals, contributed book chapters, and presented papers at national and international conferences. Dr. Aykol has also taken part in national and international research projects, contributing to studies on gastronomy, cultural heritage, and destination branding. | en_US |
