Abstract

Masallar bir toplum içerisinde doğan ve ataların kültürlerini barındıran sözlü anlatılardır. Her toplum kendi yaşam biçimleri, inanç ve değerlerine göre masallarını oluşturmuşlar ve bu şekilde nesilden nesile aktarmışlardır. Yani masallar bir toplumun inanç ve toplumsal değerleri üzerine inşaa edilmiştir. Bu yüzden masalların bir yönüyle toplumun aynası olduğu söylenebilir; çünkü masallar bir yandan dinleyicilere zevk verirken diğer yandan içinden barındırdığı toplumsal kodları nasihatvari yolla dinleyicilere ulaştırmaktadır. Elbette ki bu eğitsel yönü sadece çocuklar için değil, aynı zamanda yetişkinler için de geçerlidir.Dolayısıyla bir toplumun kültür ve toplumsal değerlerini masalarından anlamak mümkündür. Bu çalışmanın amacı Nusaybin yöresinde yer alan Kürtçe folklorik masallarında sosyal değerlerin tespit edilmesidir. "Genellikle barındırdığı sosyal değerler ne şekildedir ve bu masallar aracılığı ile hangi değerler bir sonraki nesle ulaşmıştır?'', soruların cevapları bu çalışmanın temelini oluşturmaktadır. Bu soruların cevapları için Nusaybin yöresine ait yirmi kurmanci masal analiz edilmiş ve bu masallarda Schwartz Değer Ölçeği kullanılarak sosyal değerler tespit edilip, sınıflanmıştır. Çalışmanın giriş bölümünde tezin konusu, amacı, yöntemi, sınırlılıkları ve kaynakları hakkında temel bilgiler verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde değerlerin hikâye ve halk bilimi ile ilişkisi üzerinde durulmuş, ikinci bölümde ise Nusaybin yöresine ait yirmi hikâyenin tamamına ait toplumsal değerler ortaya konulmuş ve bu değerlerin tespiti ve sınıflandırılması yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda sonuç ve yorumlar yapılmış olup, çalışmamız için derlediğimiz Nusaybin yöresine ait on masalın tam metinleri verilmiştir, ancak telif hakkından ötürü alıntı yaptığımız diğer on öykünün tam metinleri verilmemiştir.

Tales are oral narratives that occur in a society and contain ancestral culture. each society has created their tales according to their lifestyle, beliefs and values and this way they passed it down from generation to generation. that is, tales are built on the belief and social values of a society. so it can be said that tales are the mirror of society; because while fairy tales delight the listeners on the one hand, they convey the social codes they contain to the listeners in a counseling way. Of course, this educational aspect applies not only to children, but also to adults. Therefore, it is possible to understand the cultural and social values of a society by looking at its tales. The aim of this study is to determine the social values in Kurdish folkloric tales located around Nusaybin. The answers to the questions "What are the social values it usually contains and which values have reached the next generation through these tales?", form the basis of this study. For the answers to these questions, twenty fictional tales belonging to the Nusaybin region were analyzed and social values were determined and classified using the Schwartz Value Scale in these tales. In the introduction part of the study, basic information about the subject, purpose, method, limitations and sources of the thesis is given. In the first part, the relationship of values with story and folklore was emphasized, in the second part, the social values of all twenty stories belonging to the Nusaybin region were revealed and these values were determined and classified. At the end of the study, conclusions and comments were made and the full texts of the ten tales belonging to the Nusaybin region that we compiled for our study were given, but the full texts of the other ten stories we quoted due to copyright are not given.
