Onun şiirlerinde geçen bedî’ ilmine dair edebî sanatlardan, anlamı güzelleştiren tıbâk, metne estetik bir ahenk kazandıran, ses düzeniyle dinleyiciyi etkileyen seci‘, divan ve halk edebiyatında geniş bir ilgi gören cinâs, kelâm ilmine dair meselelerin anlaşılmasını sağlayan el-mezhebu’l-kelâmî sanatları incelenmiştir.
The study examines the literary arts related to the science of badīʿ found in the poems of Dhū’n-Nūn al-Miṣrī. Dhū’n-Nūn al-Miṣrī skillfully employed the literary artistry of the Arabic language to convey his thoughts on asceticism (zuhd) and Sufism to a wide geographical area. In particular, he expressed the fundamental concepts of Sufism, such as love of God, gnosis, monotheism, and asceticism, in an aesthetic manner and with a literary style. While analyzing the literary and Sufi heritage reflected in his poems, the richness of Arabic from a literary perspective will be revealed, and the effectiveness of the literary arts of badīʿ in conveying ideas will also be understood. The study addresses the life of Dhū’n-Nūn al-Miṣrī and his ascetic and Sufi aspects. Among the literary arts of badīʿ found in his poems are: ṭibāq, which beautifies meaning; sajʿ, which grants the text an aesthetic harmony and impresses the listener through sound arrangement; jinās, widely appreciated in both classical and folk literature; and al-madhhab al-kalāmī arts, which facilitate understanding issues related to theology.
