Abstract
Among the dialects of Kurdish language, Kirmancki (Zazaki) is the last one to be written out. With the foundation of the Republic of Turkey; non-turkic languages have been the object of a policy of assimilation. So, the Kirmancs (Zazas) couldn't find any opportunities to improve their mother tongue in the fields of writing and reading. Some Kirmancs left their country in 1970s and settled in European countries where they were able to have the opportunity to access higher education. Some of them worked on Kirmancki, as well. However, these works were not eough in number and they were either containing a narrower region or were written in a foreign language, which prevented most of the Kirmancs from making use of it. In 2000s, Kirmancki was let in the academia in its own land, which led the Kirmancs to work on the accents of their own regions. In Dersim, there are two basic accents between which the border is approximately the River Munzur. They are called The Western Dersim (Sheiykh Hasanan) Accent and the Eastern Dersim (Desiman) Accent. So far, there hasn't been a comprehensive study in Kirmancki on these two accents of the Kirmancki of Dersim. The aim of this work, the material of which has been collected from the region, is to compare these two accents of the Kirmancki of Dersim in terms of phonology, verbs, nouns, pronouns, adjectives, prepositions and adverbs; to focus on the region, the identity and the characteristics of the language and to write it down in the same dialect.
