Resimde hayvan figürü, toplum ve hafızanın yeri

Abstract

Resimde hayvan figürü, toplum ve hafızanın yeri adlı bu çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde; resim, figür, hayvan figürü, toplum ve hafızanın yeri kavramsal boyutta incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde; Paleolitik dönem mağara resimlerinden, modern dönemde resimlerinde hayvan figürü kullanan bazı sanatçılar( Jan Weenik, Jan Fyt, Pablo Piccasso, Franz Marc, Marc Chaggall) araştılmış ve eserlerinden örnekler verilmiştir. Kısaca bu sanatçıların hayatlarına değinilmiş, resimlerinde hangi tür hayvan imgelerine yer verdikleri ve yaşadıkları coğrafyanın onları etkileme biçimleri incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, çalışmalarımın var oluş süreci ele alınmıştır. Bu resimleri oluştururken psikolojik ve sosyolojik bir açıdan hayvan figürlerini neden kullanıldığım irdelenip değerlendirilmiştir. Hayvan figürüne baktığımızda, mağara döneminden günümüz sanatına, sanatçıların tarz ve karakterlerine göre biçimlendirdikleri bir sanat nesnesi olduğunu görmekteyiz. Sanatçılar hayvan figürünü kendi dönemlerinin sanatsal aktivitelerine göre biçimlendirmişlerdir. Hayvan figürünün, insanlık ve yaşam için çok farklı roller üstlendiğini görmekteyiz. Hayvan figürü kimi dönem, dini bir ritüel olarak estetik bir biçimde sanat malzemesi olurken, kimi dönem ise sembol ve metaforlar için kullanılmış bir sanat nesnesi olabilmektedir.

This study named "Animal figure in painting, society, and place of memory" consists of three chapters. In chapter one; painting, figure, animal figure, society, and the place of memory are examined in conceptual dimension. In chapter two; Some artists (Jan Weenik, Jan Fyt, Pablo Picasso, Franz Marc, Marc Chaggall) who used animal figures in a process that started from cave paintings in the Paleolithic period and lasted until the paintings of the modern period have been investigated and examples of their artworks have been given. Briefly, the lives of these artists have been discussed, the types of animal figures which the artists included in their paintings, and the way the geography they lived in influenced them have been examined. In chapter three; the formation process of my artworks is discussed. Besides, it has been examined and evaluated why I used animal figures from a psychological and sociological point of view during drawing these paintings. When we look at the animal figure, we see that it is an object of art that artists shape according to their own style and character from the cave period to modern art. The artists have shaped this animal figure according to the artistic activities of their era. We see that the animal figure plays many different roles for humanity and life. While the animal figure may be an art object aesthetically as the material of a religious ritual in some periods, it may be an art object used for symbols and metaphors in other periods.
