Melayê Cızîrî’nin düşüncesinde hakikat ve mecaz’ın ontolojik ve epistemolojik boyutu

Abstract

17. yüzyıl İslam düşüncesinin önemli mutasavvıflarından olan Melayê Cizîrî, vahdetü’l-vücud teorisinin bir takipçisidir. Onun düşüncesine göre hakikat, varlığın mutlak hali iken, mecaz ise, mutlak varlığın belirlenimleridir. Mecazlar dünyası veya somut nesneler konsepti, hakikat karşısında ontolojik bir statüye sahip değildir. Ama epistemolojik açıdan mecazlar, hakikate giden yoldaki işaretler ve sembollerdir. Başka bir ifadeyle mecazlar olmadan hakikat idrak edilemez. Bu çalışmanın konusu hakikat ve mecaz konusunda Cizîrî’nin görüşünü analiz etmektir. Bu çerçevede onun hakikat ve mecaz hakkındaki görüşü tasavvuf felsefesinin meseleleri ışığında ele alınacaktır.

Melayê Cizîrî, one of the important sûfî thinkers of Islamic thought in the seventeenth century, is a follower to wahdat al-wujûd theory. In his opinion the actually is the status of absolute existence, the metaphor is the determination or viewof absolute existence. The world of metaphors or the concept of concrete objects is hasn’t any status corresponding to absolute existence. But in epistemological point, metaphors are signs and symbols on the way to truth. In other words truth can not be conceived without metaphors. The topic of this study is the analysis of thought of Cizîrî on truth and metaphor. In this context his thought about truth and metaphor will be discussed in the light of issues of philosophy of tasawwuf.
