Diyarbakır Koşullarında Aspir İçin En Uygun Ekim Zamanının Belirlenmesi

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the most suitable sowing date and cultivar for safflower in Diyarbakır conditions in 2011-2012. Seeds planted on 1st November, 15th November, 1st December, 15th December, 1st March, 15th March, 1st April and 15th April on the experimental field of GAP İnternatiolan Agricultural Research and Training Center. The investigate disigned Randomized Complete Block in spling plot with four replication. Dinçer and Remzibey-05 cultivars used as a research materials. According to the findings of experiment, the highest plant height obtained from Dinçer cultivar in the 15th December sowing dates with 120,90 cm respectively and the lowest was obtained from Remzibey-05 cultivar in the 15th April sowing date with 60,55 cm. The highest head number per plant was obtained in Remzibey-05 cultivar with 15th December sowing date with 53,95 and the lowest was obtained from Remzibey-05 cultivar in 15th April sowing date with 17,48. The highest 1000 seed weight was obtained in Dinçer cultivar with 15 st November sowing date with 39,75 g and the lowest was obtained in Remzibey-05 cultivar in 15th March sowing date with 32,0 g. The highest seed yield was obtained in Remzibey-05 cultivar with 15th December sowing date with 328,71 kg/da and the lowest was obtained from Dinçer cultivar in 15th April sowing date with 147,61 kg/da. According to one year results from this study indicated that Remzibey-05 cultivar and 15 st November and 15 th December sowing dates in respect to yield and the other characters can be suitable in Diyarbakır conditions.
