GÜNÜMÜZE ÖRNEKLİĞİ AÇISINDAN FÂRÂBÎ’NİN VİZYONU

Abstract

Felsefe geçmişten kopuk bir şekilde yapılmamıştır.Ancak felsefe yapmak geçmişin aktarılmasından ibaret de değildir. Felsefe yapmanın bir biçimi de bizden öncekilerin felsefe yapma tarzlarını, bakışlarını, vizyonlarını örnek almak ve günümüze taşımakla mümkün birtakım görüşlerinden örnekler seçilerek vizyonu ortaya konacaktır. Sonra bu vizyonun günümüz İslam düşüncesine katkısı, çağımız İslam dünyası için anlamı, örnekliği ve rehberliği, özellikle de günümüz İslam medeniyetinin gelişim ve dönüşümüne yansımaları, felsefe, bilim, siyaset ve inanç gibi konularda bazı önerilerle birlikte tartışılıp sunulacaktır. Bunlara ilave olarak Fârâbî özelinde elde edilen bakış açısı, yöntem ve vizyonun günümüz felsefe araştırmalarına ve felsefe yapma çabalarına nasıl yardımcı olabileceği ortaya konmaya çalışılacaktır.Philosophy wasn’t made in the way of that disconnected from the past. On the other hand, philosophizing does not only consist of transmit- ting the past. One way of philosophizing is possible by taking the example of people who preceded us and their methods of philosophizing, their views and visions; and carrying out these all to our time. In this study, first of all, the vision of al-Fârâbî (870-950) will be presented by some examples of his ideas. Then the contribution of this vision to contemporary Islamic thought, its significance, exemplariness and guidance for today’s Muslim world, particularly its reflections for improvement and transformation of Islamic Civilization will be discussed and presented with some suggestions on issues such as philosophy, science, politics, and belief. Also, the article will try to present how aspects, methods, and visions derived from al-Fârâbî’s ideas could contribute to contemporary efforts of philosophical research and philosophizing in general.
