Dezavantajlı Bölgelerdeki Aday Öğretmenlerin Adaylık Sürecine İlişkin Görüşleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada dezavantajlı bölgelerde görev yapan aday öğretmenlerin adaylık süreciyle ilgili görüşleri analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomenoloji yaklaşımı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, 2021-2022 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında Şırnak ilinin İdil ilçesinde merkezden uzak olan köy okullarında görev yapan 13 kadın ve 7 erkek olmak üzere toplam 20 aday öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmış olup, görüşmeler ses kaydına alınmak suretiyle veriler toplanmıştır. Görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Araştırma sonunda dezavantajlı bölgede görev yapan aday öğretmenlerin aday öğretmen yetiştirme sürecinin tüm boyutlarına yönelik görüşlerinin genel anlamda olumsuz yönde olduğu bulgularına ulaşılmıştır. Dezavantajlı bölgede çalışıyor olmaya ilişkin öğretmenlerin çoğunluğu okulun fiziki imkanlarının iyi olmaması, ders yüklerinin fazla olması ve süreçte olmaması gerektiği halde nöbet tuttukları ve sınıf rehber öğretmenliği görevini üstlenmiş olmaları konusunda görüş birliğine vardıkları görülmüştür. Okul yönetimine ilişkin denetim eksikliği, paydaşların eğitim eksikliği, evrakların göstermelik bir şekilde yapılmış gibi gösterilmesi ve uygulama yapılmış olsa bile öğretmenin öğrenciler gözünde itibarının zedelenme tehlikesinin olması bu nedenle de geç kalınmış bir uygulama olduğunu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca araştırmaya katılan aday öğretmenlerin çoğunluğunun hizmet içi eğitim faaliyetlerini verimli bulmadıkları, seminer ortamının fiziki şartlarının olumsuz olduğu, adaylık kaldırma sınavının yararlı olmadığı için kaldırılması gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

In this study, it was tried to be found out the opinions of the novice teachers working in disadvantaged regions about the candidacy process. The universe of the study is a total of 20 novice teachers, 13 females and seven males, working in remote village schools in İdil district of Şırnak. Qualitative research method was used. A semi-structured interview form was used as a data collection tool, and the interviews were audio-recorded. At the end of the study, it was found that the opinions of the novice teachers working in the disadvantaged region on all aspects of the novice teacher training process were negative. It has been observed that the majority of the teachers working in disadvantaged region have agreed that the physical facilities of the school are not good, the course load is high, they keep watch even though they should not be in the process and they have undertaken the duty of classroom guidance teacher. It has been concluded that the lack of supervision regarding the school administration, the lack of education of the stakeholders and the danger of damaging the reputation of the teacher in the eyes of the students even if the application is made, so it is a late application. In addition, it was concluded that the majority of the novice teachers did not find the in-service training activities productive, the physical conditions of the seminar environment were negative, and the nomination exam should be abolished, because it was not useful.
