Mardin Artuklu Üniversitesi Sağlık Yüksekokulu, 1996 yılında Dicle Üniversitesi’ne bağlı olarak kurulmuş olup, 2007 yılında kurulan Mardin Artuklu Üniversitesi’ne bağlanmıştır. 2019 yılında 30749 sayılı Cumhurbaşkanı Kararnamesi uyarınca Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi olarak resmî gazetede yayımlanan Mardin Artuklu Üniversitesi Sağlık Yüksekokulu'nun Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi’ne dönüştürülmesine yönelik karar ile Mardin Artuklu Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi kurulmuştur. Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Hemşirelik Bölümü, bilimsel gelişmelere dayalı olarak toplumun sağlık gereksinimlerine yanıt vermek için, etik değerlere uygun, etkili iletişim sağlayan, problem çözme ve araştırma becerilerine sahip, değişim yaratabilen, insan haklarına saygılı lisans düzeyinde hemşire yetiştirmektedir. Bu bölümden mezun olan hemşireler büyük oranda hastanelerde hemşirelik yapmakla beraber farklı alanlarda çalışma imkanlarına da sahiplerdir.
Mardin Artuklu University School of Health was established in 1996, affiliated with Dicle University, and was affiliated with Mardin Artuklu University, which was established in 2007. In 2019, in accordance with the Presidential Decree No. 30749, Mardin Artuklu University Faculty of Health Sciences was established with the decision to transform Mardin Artuklu University School of Health, which was published in the official gazette as the Faculty of Health Sciences, into the Faculty of Health Sciences. The Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Department trains undergraduate level nurses who comply with ethical values, communicate effectively, have problem solving and research skills, can create change, and respect human rights in order to respond to the health needs of the society based on scientific developments. Nurses who graduate from this department mostly work as nurses in hospitals, but they also have the opportunity to work in different fields.
