Abstract

Mobbing was first examined in 1984 by Heinz Leymann as health and safety element in the workplace in the form of psycho-social issues. For over twenty years, mobbing has been encountered as an organizational problem in the whole world and related practices has increased day by day. Mobbing continues to create wearing effects on both employees and organizations. The purpose of mobbing is to leave the victims out of the job by creating systematically and repeatedly restless and hostile environment an organization. In this study, the theoretical framework of mobbing was examined and the concept of mobbing was scanned through Google Ngrams statistics; moreover, the theme of mobbing on the Turkish Management and Organization's literature was investigated over the reports of Management and Organizations' congress and the graduate thesis in YOK electronic thesis archive.
