Abstract
Tâcüddîn es-Sübkî, fıkıh, hadis, kelam ve İslâm tarihi gibi İslâmî ilimlerin farklı alanlarında eserler vermiş önemli bir âlimdir. Ancak onun esas ihtisas alanı fıkıh usûlü ilmidir. Sübkî, bu ilimde yaptığı çalışmalarla ün yapmış ve usûlcü kimliğiyle tanınmıştır. Kahire ve Dımaşk gibi dönemin ilim merkezlerinin farklı medreselerinde ders vererek birçok âlim yetiştirmiştir. Aynı zamanda devlet yönetiminin değişik kademelerinde görevlendirilmiş ve dönemin ilmiye sınıfının en üst makamı olan Kâdılkudât (baş yargıç) mertebesine kadar yükselmiştir. Bu çalışmada, İslâm tarihçiliği açısından parlak bir dönemde yaşayan ve kendisinden sonrakiler üzerinde derin etkiler bırakan Sübkî’nin hayatı, ilmi kişiliği, hocaları, öğrencileri ve eserleri ele alınıp tanıtılmıştır.
Tajuddin as-Subki was an important scholar who had works in various fields of Islamic sciences such as fiqh, hadith, kalam and Islamic history. However, his main field of specialization was fiqh. Subkî made a reputation for his work in this science and was known for his jurisprudential identity. He taught at different madrasahs of science centres of the period such as Cairo and Damascus and raised many scholars. At the same time, he was appointed to various levels of the state administration and rose to the rank of Kâdılkudât (chief judge), the highest authority of the period's class. In this study, we discuss and introduce the life, scientific personality, scholars, disciples and works of Subki who lived in a bright period in terms of Islamic historiography and deeply influenced his followers.
