Frequency and actual power control in energy systems are of great importance in grid control depending on time. The frequency of the system is fixed on the basis of the balance of production and consumption, depending on the actual power balances. Because the frequency is a global value, a change in power demand at a point in power demand is directly affected by the system. But the power system grid currently used was designed around centralized power generation and one-way supply of power deliver to customer to fulfil the basic electricity need. This system is aged and struggle to maintain the frequency of a system. However, in the modern grid model, information flow between producers and consumers is provided in two ways and this communication provides efficient planning. In this study, more efficient and reliable new technologies are searched in order to provide quality energy in smart grid. This review article discusses a frequency and active power control mechanism to ensure the balance between the supply network of the network-intelligent system.en_US
