Osmanlı tarih yazımı'nda ilk dönem fetihleri ve gayrimüslimlerle ilişkiler (1299-1481)

Abstract

Osmanlı Devleti'ndeki gayrimüslimlerin durum ve konumunu ele alan bu çalışmada ağırlıkla onların hem sosyal hem de askeri alandaki görünümlerine yer verilmiştir. Çalışmada asıl çerçeve ana kaynaklar ışığında çizilmiştir. Kronikler ya da vakayinameler gibi ana kaynakların yanı sıra, araştırma ve inceleme eserlerden de yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmada dönem müelliflerinin yaşantılarına, eğitim durumlarına ve yönetim ile yakınlıklarına da değinilmiştir. Bu incelemeden yola çıkılarak Osmanlı Devleti'nin önceden bu bölgede yaşayan gayrimüslim halkla münasebette bulunduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Osmanlı Devleti özellikle Kuruluş Dönemi'nde batıya doğru (Bizans) ilerleme politikasını benimsemiştir. Bu politika Osmanlı idaresine daha çok gayrimüslim halkın da dâhil olması manasına gelmekteydi. Bu durum Osmanlı'da Müslim ve gayrimüslim halkın ayrışmasından çok kaynaşması anlamına gelmekteydi. Çünkü Osmanlı Devleti'nde Müslüman halk ve sultanlar kuruluştan dağılma dönemine kadar gayrimüslim tebaayla iç içe yaşamışlardır. Hatta bazı sultanlar gayrimüslimlerin devletin çeşitli kademelerinde göreve getirilmesini teşvik etmiştir.

In this study, which deals with the situation and position of non-Muslims in the Ottoman Empire, their appearance in both social and military fields is mainly included. In the study, the main frame was drawn in the light of the main sources. In addition to the main sources such as chronicles or chronicles, research and examination works were also used. In the study, the lives of the authors of the period, their educational status and their closeness with the management were also mentioned. Based on this study, it was concluded that the Ottoman Empire had relations with the non-Muslim people living in this region before. The Ottoman Empire adopted a westward (Byzantine) progress policy, especially in the Establishment Period. This policy meant that more non-Muslim people were included in the Ottoman administration. This meant that the Muslim and non-Muslim people in the Ottoman Empire were more fused rather than separated. Because in the Ottoman Empire, the Muslim people and the sultans lived together with the non-Muslim subjects from the establishment to the dissolution period. Some sultans even encouraged the appointment of non-Muslims in various levels of the state.
