İSKENDER PALA’NIN “KATRE-İ MATEM” ADLI ROMANINDA YAPILARINA GÖRE CÜMLELER

Abstract

Ülkemizde dil bilimi alanında yapılan çalışmalar incelendiğinde özellikle söz dizimi üzerine bazı tartışmaların olduğu görülmektedir. Son yıllarda söz dizimi üzerine yapılan çalışmalarda artış olmasına rağmen hâlâ birçok konunun kendi içerisinde tartışılıyor olması bu alanda çalışan araştırmacılarda kafa karışıklığına sebep olabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, son dönem Türk edebiyatının en önemli roman yazarlarından olan İskender Pala’nın ‘‘Katre-i Matem’’ adlı romanı, modern dil bilim anlayışından hareketle yapılarına göre cümleler bakımından incelenmiştir. Bu çalışma ile hem İskender Pala’nın daha önce söz dizimi yönünden incelenmeyen ‘‘Katre-i Matem’’ adlı romanının incelenmesi hem de son yıllarda artan söz dizimi çalışmalarına katkı sağlanması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın giriş bölümünde, ülkemizde söz dizimi alanında çalışan araştırmacıların ‘‘cümlenin yapı bakımından sınıflandırılması’’na ilişkin yaklaşımları tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmacıların yaklaşımlarından hareketle ‘‘cümlenin yapı bakımından sınıflandırılması’’ üzerine ortak bir görüşün oluşamadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışmada esas alınan ‘‘yapılarına göre sınıflandırma’’ modeli, inceleme metnimizden seçilen ve ilgili başlığı en doğru şekilde yansıtan, sayfa ve satır numaraları verilen örnek cümlelerle açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuç bölümünde ise metinden hareketle cümleler yapılarına göre değerlendirilmiş olup “mi” soru edatıyla oluşturulan cümlelerin sınırlı sayıda kullanıldığı”, özne ve yüklem ortaklığına dayalı sıralı cümlelerin diğer sıralı cümlelere göre daha fazla tercih edildiği, basit cümlelerde kurallı cümlelerin devrik cümlelere göre daha fazla kullanıldığı gibi bilgilerin yer aldığı bulgular genel hatlarıyla değerlendirilmiştir.

When the studies in the area of linguistics in our country are investigated, it is seen that there are some discussions especially on syntax. Despite the increase in the studies on syntax in recent years, the fact that many issues are still being debated among themselves may cause confusion for researchers working in this area. In this study, the novel "Katre-i Matem" by Iskender Pala, one of the most important novelists of recent Turkish literature, has been examined in terms of sentences according to their structures, based on linguistics. At this study, it is intented analyze the novel "Katre-i Matem" by İskender Pala which has not been examined in terms of syntax before, and to contribute to the increasing syntax studies in recent years. In the introductory part of the study, it has been tried to determine the approaches of the researchers working in the field of syntax regarding the classification of the sentence in terms of structure. When the approach of the researchers was examined, it was determined that there was no common opinion on the classification of the sentence in terms of structure. In this study, the classification model according to the structures taken as a basis has been tried to be explained with sample sentences selected from our review text and the page and line numbers that reflect the relevant title in the most accurate way. In the conclusion part of the study, the findings determined were evaluated in general terms. In the last part of the study, sentences were assessmented according to their structures based on the text, and it was determined that; the sentences formed with the question preposition 'mi' were used in a limited number, the sequential sentences based on subject and predicate partnership are more preferred than other sequential sentences, and also in simple sentences, regular sentences are used more than inverted sentences.
