Abstract

Merkezi yerleştirme sınavları, öğrencilerin üniversiteye yerleşmelerinde ve meslek seçmelerinde önemli olduğuna inanılan bir sınavdır. Bu bakımdan sınava ilişkin öğretmen ve öğrencilerin görüşlerini almak önemlidir. Bu araştırma, merkezi yerleştirme sınav sistemini öğretmen ve öğrencilerin görüşlerine dayalı olarak ortaya koymayı amaçlamıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yönteminin, durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2017-2018 eğitimöğretim yılında Mardin İli Kızıltepe İlçesindeki beş faklı ortaokulda görev yapan 47 öğretmen ve bu okullarda okuyan 60 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma grubu amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenerek oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen görüşme formuyla elde edilmiştir. Veriler, içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Çıkan sonuçlar kodlanmış ve sonuçlara göre temalar oluşturulmuştur. Elde edilen bulgulara göre öğretmen ve öğrenciler sınav sistemine ilişkin olumsuz değerlendirmelerde bulunmuşlardır. Katılımcılar, öğrencilerin sene başında TEOG sınavına göre hazırlık yaptıkları, yeni sınav sisteminin öğrencileri psikolojik açıdan olumsuz etkilediği, motivasyonu düşürdüğü, derse ilgiyi azalttığı, sosyalleşmeyi olumsuz etkilediği ve merkezi sınav konu sayısında artışa yol açtığını belirtmişlerdir

In this respect, it is important to get the views of teachers and students on the test. This research aimed to reveal the central placement examination system based on the opinions of teachers and students. Qualitative research methodology, case study designation was used in the research. The study group consists of 47 teachers who work in five different secondary schools in Kızıltepe District of Mardin in the academic year of 2017-2018 and 60 students studying in these schools. The study group was formed by sampling with purpose. The data of the study were obtained by interview form developed by the researcher. The data were subjected to content analysis. The results were coded and the themes were formed according to the results. According to the findings obtained, teachers and students have made evaluations about the examination system.
