İhvân-ı Safâ’da Ontolojik Uyum-Teleolojik Bağlam

Abstract

Bu çalışmada temel amacımız İhvân-ı Safâ’da ontolojik uyumu teleolojik bağlamda ele almak ve tartışmaktır. Uyum, büyük oranda sayılar, harfler ve müzik konularında karşımıza çıkan oran, orantı ve harmoniyle kavramsal çerçevesini bulmaktadır. Bu bağlamda öncelikle İhvân-ı Safâ’da oran, orantı ve bu kavramların uyumla ilişkisini ortaya koymaya çalıştık. Ortaya çıkan uyum çerçevesini Allah’ın varlıklara yerleştirmiş olduğu gaye, nizam, düzen ve amaç bağlamında İhvân’dan örnek ve açıklamalarla göstermeye gayret ettik. İhvân-ı Safâ’da ayüstü ve ayaltı âlemdeki tüm varlıklarda teleolojik bağlamda ontolojik bir uyumun varlığı açık bir şekilde görülmektedir. Bu sonuç Pythagorasçı temellerden kaynaklandığı gibi İslam’ın referanslarıyla da oldukça ilgilidir. İhvân’da varlığın gizemlerine ulaşmak, sırlarını keşfetmek ya da hikmetini anlamak için uyum konusunun anahtar bir görev üstlendiğini söylemek mümkündür. Dolayısıyla bu çalışma, İhvân-ı Safâ’nın varlık alanındaki gaye, düzen, nizam ve hikmeti, oran ve uyum üzerinden nasıl izah ettiğini gösterme ve bu çerçeveyle varlığı anlama ve anlamlandırma çabalarını ortaya koyma girişiminde bulunmaktadır.

In this study, our main aim is to examine and discuss the ontological harmony with theological context in Ikhwan al-Safâ. The harmony finds its conceptional border with ratio, proportion and harmony which appear in the subject of the numbers, letters and music to large extent. In this context, first of all we have tried to present ratio, proportion and their relationships with harmony in Ikhwan al-Safâ. We have also tried to show the unveiled framework of harmony in the context of purpose (telos), order, layout and objective which God placed in the existence by examples and explanation of Ikhwan. It has been saliently seen that there is an ontological harmony with theological context in all existence of subluner-World and heavenly-World. This result stems from Pythagoreans foundations and substantially related to Islamic references as well. In Ikhwan al-Safâ, it is possible to declare that the harmony subject takes on a key task to reach mysteries, to explore secrets or to understand wisdom of existence. Therefore this study makes an attempt to show how Ikhwan al-Safâ explain purpose (telos), layout, order and wisdom in the existence over the ratio and harmony, and to propound the efforts of understanding and explaining existence by this framework.
