Abstract
Bu çalışmada, okul müdürlerinin dönüşümcü liderlik davranışları ile öğretmenlerin örgütsel tükenmişlik düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin öğretmen algılarına göre ortaya konması amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmanın evreni Diyarbakır ili merkez ilçelerindeki (Kayapınar, Bağlar, Yenişehir ve Sur) lise, ortaokul ve ilkokullarda görev yapan bütün öğretmenlerden oluşmaktadır. Örneklem küme örneklem tekniğine göre belirlenmiş ve bu kapsamda 456 katılımcıya dönüşümcü liderlik ve örgütsel tükenmişlik ölçeği uygulanarak değerlendirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde standart sapma, aritmetik ortalama, Anova ve t-testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada okul müdürlerinin dönüşümsel liderlik özellikleri ile öğretmenlerin tükenmişlikleri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu ilişkinin yönü ve düzeyi incelendiğinde, genel olarak dönüşümsel liderliğin duygusal tükenme ile negatif yönde ve orta düzeyde, duygusal tükenmenin alt boyutlarından duyarsızlaşma ile negatif yönde ve düşük düzeyde, kişisel başarı ile pozitif yönde ve düşük düzeyde ilişkili olduğu belirlenmiştir.
In this study, it is aimed to reveal the relationship between the transformational leadership behaviors of school principals and the organizational burnout levels of teachers according to teacher perceptions. The universe of the research consists of all teachers working in high schools, secondary schools, and primary schools in the central districts of Diyarbakır (Kayapınar, Bağlar, Yenişehir and Sur). The sample was determined according to the cluster sampling technique, and in this regard, 456 participants were evaluated via the transformational leadership and organizational burnout scale. In the analysis of the data, standard deviation, arithmetic mean, ANOVA and ttest were used. In the study, it was found that there is a significant relationship between the transformational leadership characteristics of school principals and the burnout of teachers. When the direction and level of this relationship were examined, it was determined that in general, transformational leadership was negatively and moderately related to emotional exhaustion, negatively and lowly related to depersonalization, which is one of the sub-dimensions of emotional exhaustion, and positively and lowly related to personal achievement.
