SPOR BİLİMLERİ LİSANSÜSTÜ ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN ÇEŞİTLİ DEĞİŞKENLERE GÖRE LİSANSÜSTÜ EĞİTİME YÖNELİK TUTUMLARININ İNCELENMESİ: BATMAN ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, spor bilimleri alanında lisansüstü öğrenim gören öğrencilerin çeşitli değişkenlere göre lisansüstü eğitime yönelik tutumlarını incelemektir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Batman ilinde ikamet edip spor bilimleri alanında yükseklisans ve doktora öğrenimi gören 51 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri “Lisansüstü Eğitime Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği” ve “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, öğrencilerin lisansüstü eğitime yönelik genel olarak olumlu bir tutum içerisinde oldukları, ancak lisansüstü eğitimi stresli, maliyetli ve çalışma ve sosyal yaşamı dengelemede zor bir süreç olarak gördükleri görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin lisansüstü eğitime yönelik tutumlarının sadece çalışma statüsü ve akademik danışman unvanı değişkenlerine göre anlamlı olarak değiştiği, cinsiyet, lisansüstü öğrenim gördüğü enstitü, lisansüstü eğitim kademesi ve danışmanlarının cinsiyet değişkenlerine göre lisansüstü eğitime yönelik tutumlarının anlamlı olarak değişmediği tespit edilmiştir.The purpose of this study is to analyze the attitudes of graduate students in the field of sports sciences towards graduate education by different variables. Survey model ranked among the quantitative research methods was used in the research. The study group of the research is composed residence in Batman province of 51 students studying in master and doctorate degrees in the field of sports sciences. Data of the research were collected through “Attitude Scale for Graduate Education” and “Personal Inquiry Form”. It has been observed following the research that the students generally have a positive attitude towards graduate education; however, they consider graduate education a stressful, costly and difficult process in maintaining a balance between work and social life. It has been concluded that the attitudes of students towards graduate education only differ significantly by the variables of working status and title of academic advisor while their attitudes towards graduate education do not differ significantly by the variables of sex, institute offering graduate education, graduate level and gender of advisors.
