Abstract
Bu araştırma, lise öğrencilerinin |9., 10., U. ve 12. sınıf! matematik okuryazarlığı öz yeterlik inançlarını belirlemeyi ve öğrencilerin öz yeterlik inançlarının cinsiyet, sınıf, okul türü, matematik dersi basan puanı, anne-baba eğitim durumu ve matematik dersine verilen önem değişkenlerine göre incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma, 712 lise öğrecisi üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Veri toplama aracı olarak, "Matematik Okuryazarlığı üz Yeterlik Ölçeği" ve "Kişisel Bilgi Fromu" kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde, t-testi, varyans analizi ve çoklu regresyon analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi sonucunda, lise öğrencilerinin matematik okuryazarlığı öz yeterlik inançlarının cinsiyet, sınıl, okul türü, matematik dersi basarı puanı, anne-baba eğitim durumu ve matematik dersine verilen öneme göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Aynca. matematik dersi başarı puanı ve matematik dersine verilen önem değişkenlerinin matematik okurayazarlığı öz yeterlik inancının anlamlı birer yordayıcısı oldukları bulunmuştur. Elde edilen bulgular ilgili literatür eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.
The purpose of this study is to determine the high school students' self-efficacy beliefs about math literacy, and examine this beliefs in terms of some variables. The research was conducted on 712 high school students. A questionnaire and Math Literacy Self-Efficacy Scale were used for data collection. The data were analyzed in terms of t-test, one way anova and multiple regression analysis. According to the result of the study: it was determined that there were significant differences in math literacy self-efficacy in terms of gender, school type, class level, math degree, parents' educational status and the importance given to math classes. On the other hand, it was found that, math achievement and importance given to math classes variables were significant predictor of the math literacy self-efficacy. The findings were discussed in the light of related literature.
